Real Madrid is set to announce the signing of Chelsea star winger Eden Hazard, as per reports from Spanish Press. Hazard is expected to add much-needed firepower up front to Real Madrid after Ronaldo exit.

The signing, to be worth £115m, as reported by The Sun looks worthwhile. Europa league could hence have been his last match at Blues ending a brilliant career. The match ended with Hazard scoring twice to bid an apt goodbye to Chelsea fans. Hazard has been in red hot form this season with 21 goals and 16 assists.
Real Madrid has waited “a number of years” as per Real president Florentino Perez. The report from AS follows on from the last interview of Perez.
“I have a feeling that Eden Hazard will be coming this year,” he said.
The deal is said to be a 6-year contract. Eden Hazard, the 28-year-old Belgian Wing Forward who plies his trade for Chelsea. He has been the MVP of Chelsea after retirements of veterans Drogba and Torres. This would indeed be a big void to fill. David Luiz has suggested Callum Hudson to be a viable replacement.

Zidane who returned to duty at Madrid again has previously been vocal about Hazard’s brilliance. In return Hazard has also been excited to play with him.
“I do not know what will happen in the future. However, for sure, to play under Zidane would be a dream,” he told Belgian channel RTL.

The deal worth £115m transfer fee would also include a £400k weekly fee. The €60m signing of Luka Jovic from Frankfurt would also be announced soon along with defender Mendy. The dates for the two had been tentative but Real Madrid is eager to sign Hazard asap.
