Rick and Morty Season 4 Episode 1 aired last Sunday and we are all set for the second episode. Rick and Morty Season 4 Episode 2, titled ‘The Old Man and the Seat’ is all set to come out on Sunday, the 17th of November at 11:30 PM on Eastern Time. Excitement levels about this new episode are already peaking as we enter Saturday. However, fans might be disappointed because this episode will feature lesser Easter eggs compared to the first episode.
Rick and Morty Season 4 Episode 2 Easter Eggs To Be Reduced
Given that there were so many easter eggs in the first episode, the fans were really excited about the show. They were not disappointed as the first episode had callbacks from several past seasons and even had some inside jokes which only the most ‘hardcore’ of fans could understand. However, when it comes to Season 4 Episode 2, the number of easter eggs will be reduced as the focus here will be more on storytelling than on pops from the viewers.
Also, by adding a lot of Easter eggs, the producers of the show actually alienate the casual fans by going overboard to please the hardcore fans. Hence, Rick and Morty Season 4 Episode 2 will not feature so many easter eggs as we saw in the first episode!

Rick and Morty S4E2: What to Expect?
The episode is titled ‘The Old Man and the Seat’ which is inspired by the popular Ernest Hemingway novel ‘The Old Man and the Sea’. Expect some tributes to Hemingway in the episode. Moreover, the show will feature Glootie, about which we have heard so much during the Comic-Con events. Expect Jerry to play a big role in this forthcoming Rick and Morty episode.
