Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Code-names and Other Rumors
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 first evidence was found by Max Weinbach from XDA developers in March while looking for source kernel of Galaxy S20 series. It was revealed that Project XYZ, Project Canvas, and Project Winner2 are the three code-names for the upcoming Samsung flagship devices. While the Project XYZ was proved to be Galaxy S20 series, there are rumors that Project Canvas refers to the Galaxy Note 20 series.

Even the Twitter tipster Ice Universe also confirms that Galaxy Note 20 has a code-name as Project Canvas. Whereas the Project Winner2 is said to be the upcoming Galaxy Fold 2, which goes with the fact that Galaxy Fold was code-named Project Winner.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Design, Display and S-Pen Stylus
Galaxy Note 20 series will have a design similar to the Galaxy S20 smartphones with a few minimal changes. There is a rectangular camera setup on the back as per the leaked renders and Samsung Note 20 more or less looks like an upgraded version of Galaxy S20 smartphone. There are also rumors that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 20 in two variants, a regular size model and a Plus variant.

The Galaxy Note 20 will also support the S Pen stylus, microphone, speaker and USB-C port. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is gone and there are no buttons on the right side in Samsung Galaxy Note 20. There are also leaked Galaxy Note 20 renders which shows three variants: Note 20, Note 20 Plus and Note 20 Ultra. All the three Note 20 models will have a slot for S pen stylus and a hole-punch Infinity-O display hiding the front camera within the display.

As per the leaked reports, the Galaxy Note 20 will have a more fine-tuned 120 GHz display covering all four sides of the flat-screen device. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 display is referred as a “3D wraparound display” and it will be much more enhanced than the Galaxy S20 series display.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 release date could be set in August 2020 which is the usual schedule to launch the Note devices. Even the Galaxy Note 10, Note 9 and Note 9 were released in August, confirming the release month for the next Samsung phablet. There are also rumors that Samsung could launch Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Z Fold 2 in July, although it is not confirmed yet.

Galaxy Note 20 would be way more expensive than the previous models in the series as it will have the addition of 5G technology. The recently launched Galaxy S20 have a starting price of $999 and the last year’s Galaxy Note 10 had a base price of $949, whereas the upcoming Note 20 will cost even more. We could easily expect the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 price as $1,000 or more, whereas the Plus variant would be even costlier.
