Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost are rethinking their wedding plans due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The couple got engaged in May 2019 after two years of dating. Allegedly, their relationship is at breaking point now. Other than the pandemic, there could be other factors for the cracks appearing in their bond.
Scarlett Johansson is having issues with her fiance
Some rumours state that Jost’s flirty nature is alienating Johansson. While on other grapevine, Jost caught his fiancee cheating on him. One of the other factors for the differences between the star couple is the size of their wedding. Scarlett, supposedly wishes to have a small and intimate affair. She’s already been married twice before so, she doesn’t want anything too conspicuous. Whereas Colin wants a grand event, as this is his first.
While on the other hand, rumours also floated around that there were big plans for the wedding. Seemingly, Johansson planned on a destination wedding. Once it was stated that the duo would tie knot at Disney World, as per Johansson’s daughter’s wish. Another time the rumours were that the nupitals would take place at Greece, as it was the perfect locale.
Reportedly, Johansson wanted Jost to quit SNL. Word was doing rounds that Johansson was pressuring Jost to quit the long-running comedic show for the sake of their relationship. All these factors, seemingly, put a strain on the alliance.
However, there is also concern for Jost as Johansson apparently has a three-year itch. Her previous relationships with Ryan Reynolds and Romain Dauriac ended after 3 years. And now its been 3 years since Jost and Johansson have been together. But, allegedly, the Lucy actress wants to make things work with Colin.
Some truth amidst all lies
In latest news, the couple are planning a rooftop wedding in New York City. The Hollywood stars will still tie the knot as soon as it’s safe for them and their loved ones.

Jost recently stated during an interview on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live that he and Johansson had to reevaluate their wedding plans due to the coronavirus epidemic. Alike many other celebrities who had to postpone their weddings, Jost revealed that he wasn’t sure when that moment will be when he and Johansson will have their wedding ceremony. On the matter, his thoughts were–
“We don’t even know what’s legally allowed. This is not the time to get all your elderly, at-risk relatives together all in one big group … who knows! We don’t know if we could do a live show for SNL yet, let alone have a wedding where the audience is elders.”
