Coronavirus outbreak has engulfed the entire United States and it is spreading across the entire country. It has forced everyone to stay inside their houses and that has led to stocking up food and other groceries. But the retailer stores could be a big hotspot for the spread of COVID-19 if proper safety measures are not followed.
It is why major stores that are open during Coronavirus lockdown have changed the timings and here are the opening hours for Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Kohl’s, Publix, Sephora, Macy’s, TJX and other major stores.
Opening Hours for Retailer Stores in Coronavirus Lockdown
Walmart: To make sure things are running properly, the 24-hours running Walmart will now operate from 6 am to 11 pm until things are under control. The remaining time will be used to restock the supplies and carry out cleaning and sanitization of the stores.
Target: All the stores will now close down at 9 pm instead of running till midnight or the entire night. Target will allow the first hour of every Wednesday morning to vulnerable shoppers, old age people, and health care, workers. Also, food sampling is currently banned to avoid coronavirus spread, touchscreen and checkout lanes are also cleaned every 30 minutes.
Publix: The store will now open only from 8 am to 8 pm, whereas the first hour of 7-8 am on every Tuesday and Wednesday will be considered as senior shopping hour.
Trader’s Joe: The store has also reduced the timings to 9 am to 7 pm and the remaining hours will be used to take care of the crew members.
Lowe’s Food: The stores will now open from 7 am to 10 pm until further notice on the COVID-19 situation.
Whole Foods: Every store will now close up two hours early so that the workers get enough time to refill the supplies and sanitize the stores.
Fresh Market: The retail giant has announced that it will 8 am to 9 pm all the seven days of a week.
