The filming of Stranger Things Season 4 has currently been halted due to the coronavirus outbreak and Netflix plans to resume it as soon as the government allows the same.

Stranger Things Season 4 trailer: “From Russia with Love” shows that Hopper is kept a prisoner in the snowy regions of Russia and he is forced to work on the rail tracks along with the other prisoners. Fans were surprised to see that Jim Hopper was alive but the biggest mystery was that why was he bald and he had some weird expressions on his face.

One of the Stranger Things season 4 theory claims that the Hopper seen on the train tracks is not the real sheriff from Hawkins and is instead a clone made by the Russians. It also explains why he doesn’t have hairs and he is emotionless. Stranger Things already focus on human experiments and it won’t be a surprise if cloning technology has been invented in Russia.

The goal is to lure Eleven by the clone Hopper and steal her powers for evil purposes. Hiro Koda, one of the stunt coordinators for Stranger Things season 4 has revealed that the next season will be epic and darker, where Hopper being an evil clone and stealing the telekinesis powers of Eleven will be an amazing twist.

Stranger Things Season 4 filming started earlier this year but it was halted in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Netflix has to stop shooting for the series in order to keep the cast and crew safe from the COVID-19 infection. It is expected that the filming for the fourth season of Stranger Things will resume after August when it is allowed by the government. Hence, Stranger Things season 4 release date will be pushed to around mid-2021 or later depending on how long it takes to complete the filming and post-production.
