Stranger Things Season 4 filming will start soon as the COVID-19 guidelines for production houses are out. The cast and crew had a table read in March and it is estimated that the first two episodes of the fourth season are already complete.
The filming had to be halted in between due to the coronavirus quarantine, but the writers used this time to complete the script of Stranger Things Season 4. Depending on how long does it takes for filming, the premiere dates might get postponed. Stranger Things Season 4 is expected to release in late 2020 or early 2021 with a trailer coming out before the end of this year.
