Taylor Swift has yet again set our screens on fire. And this time, she is accompanied by the hottest of Hollywood celebrities. Taylor Swift new song, “You Need to Calm Down,” features tons of star-studded cameos including our very favourite, Katy Perry.

She released the music video for the song, “You Need to Calm Down” on Good Morning America at dawn time on Monday. She has also teased the song’s video as “delicious” in her Instagram post.

The song is set in a trailer park and features the witty Ellen DeGeneres, our “roaring” lioness Katy Perry, Deadpool fame Ryan Reynolds and even Adam Lambert.

The list of celeb cameos doesn’t end here. The final product swamped talents like Tan France, Justin Mikita, Dexter Mayfield, Chester Lockhart, Ciara, Hayley Kiyoko and Billy Porter.

The celeb bunch appeared as a friendly neighbour to the singer in an LGBTQ+ trailer park adorned with coloured candies. “You Need to Calm Down” is the Swift’s revival song for her highly anticipated album Lover.  The song album is expected to see a release in late August.

Besides the benign names, the song even featured Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Todrick Hall and Adele as high-profile judges of a beauty contest catalogued in the park.  Swift had been actively promoting the new tune on social media with colourful images of sprinkles, tattoos and tea.

Besides her fully-fledged singing career, she is also a part-time philanthropist. Swift has been a local ambassador of LGBTQ+ rights and has even been promoting Gay rights through videos, social media and now even with her own songs.
The singing sensation, in her voyage to see equal representation of LGBTQ+ in society has posted a message at the end of her video song.

The message reads: Let’s show our pride by demanding our rights on a national level. Let us show that our laws truly treat all of our citizens equally.
She has also requested her fans to sign out her petition, demanding Senate support for Act of Equality on Change.org.
