The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 Teaser Breakdown

To the surprise of the viewers a new teaser trailer of The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 was launched on June 24, 2020 by Hulu themselves on their official YouTube channel. The new teaser has confirmed that season 4 of the show would be available only in 2021 although no specific date has been announced.

Just like every show has been affected by the ongoing CoVid-19 pandemic and so is Season 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale no far behind. The viewers had expected a late 2020 release of Season 4 of the show but considering the condition, a delay is definitely on the table.

Elisabeth Moss who plays the role of June on the show through her Instagram had announced on March 16 that the production had to be shut down due to the ongoing pandemic.

CAST: The makers have not spoken much about who would be returning for The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4. Although the teaser does give us a glimpse of Elisabeth Moss as June Osborne, Yvonne Strahovski as Serena Joy and Ann Dowd as Aunt Lydia, O.T. Fagbenle as Luke, Alexis Bledel as Emily and Joseph Fiennes as Commander Waterford.

SPECULATIONS: The viewers are not sure of what to expect from Season 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale. One thing that can be speculated that season 4 is expected to begin from the cliffhanger ending of season 3. 

 The show is based on the famous novel ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’. The makers have announced that season 4 will be adapted from the sequel novel The Testaments. If the upcoming season 4 runs on the novel then there is a lot in store for the character of Aunt Lydia. There is a lot to look forward to Baby Nicole as well.

SNEAK PEAK: The producer Warren Littlefield was spotted saying “We have not planned season four to be the end, but we also look to Margaret book The Testaments and know that that story takes us 15 years into the future,” Seems like the makers are making sure to raise the bar high with Season 4 of the show. 

 Seeing all the revelations and different comments of the different casts, one thing is for sure that there is a lot in store for the show lovers this time from The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4. The makers are sure to keep us glued to our couches with the upcoming season.
