The Last of Us Part 2 Will NOT Feature Multiplayer Mode!
This has come has a huge shock to gamers. As of last year, there were rumors and reports which said that this mode will indeed be a major part of the game. However, Naughty Dog, the developers of this game – as well as Sony have confirmed that this will no longer be a part of the second game.
However, there are hints on Twitter that point out that while the multiplayer mode is gone, ‘factions’ might still not be dead. Here’s a closer look at this.

Factions To Still Be a Part of the Game?
This is an interesting development that gamers are particularly looking forward towards. While some features are gone from the game, Naughty Dog added that “However, you will eventually experience the fruits of our team’s online ambitions, but not as part of ‘The Last of Us Part II,’” – this hints that there’s a chance that more multiplayer games might be coming from Naughty Dog in the near future.
