The Mandalorian Season 2 cast leaks suggest that the show could lose its charm and become another generic fanfic service of the Star Wars franchise. It is already reported that Rosario Dawson will appear as Ahsoka Tano and Temuera Morrison is also rumored to be returning as the famous bounty hunter Boba Fett. While the recent rumors suggest that Katee Sackhoff will reprise her character from the Clone Wars series and play the role of Bo Katan in “The Mandalorian” Season 2.
While some of the hardcore Star Wars fans are happy to see all the characters in live-screen, the second season of The Mandalorian is not the right show for it. The only reason everyone loved Mandalorian was its unique take on the Star Wars without any major references. Fans could get disappointed over The Mandalorian Season 2 if the cast leaks are true and the Disney+ series is being stuffed with Star Wars fan service.
Star Wars Universe is getting a Lot of Hate
Star Wars series has totally lost its charm and Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker is the worst rated movie in the series. It seems that the makers are trying too hard to connect everything in the Universe and it has become a big complicated mess.

It is also destroying the legacy of the original Star Wars trilogy and everyone already hated the prequels. The Mandalorian Season 2 could have been different from the Star Wars movies, but it looks like they are repeating the same mistake again and again.
The Mandalorian Season 2 is trying too hard to be a Star Wars Show
The Mandalorian Season 2 will once again be under the supervision of Jon Favreau but it seems that Disney is interfering too much into it. There is no need to include Boba Fett in the second season just because a few fans are asking for it. The Mandalorian is a unique take on the Star Wars franchise and created in the form of a Western Space drama.
But with the recent casting reports, it seems the makers want it to become just like the other Star Wars show. Not everyone is a huge Star Wars nerd and knows all the characters, The Mandalorian Season 2 should stand on its own like the previous season and not depend too much on Star Wars characters.
The Mandalorian Season 2 release date is set as October 2020 and Disney+ will stream the episodes in a weekly format.
