It is why everyone has assumed that “The Mandalorian Season 3” is actually “The Book of Boba Fett” as Grogu has been taken away by Luke Skywalker and their story is ended. However, it is not the case as The Mandalorian Season 3 is a separate show and here are more updates on the release date, trailer, and spoilers for the Disney+ show.
The Mandalorian Season 3 and ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ are Different Shows
The Mandalorian Season 3 and ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ are different projects and it was cleared out by Jon Favreau himself in a recent interview. The only reason why the Boba Fett show was not announced during the Disney+ exhibition is to keep his appearance at the end credits a secret.
For the fans who are wondering that The Book of Boba Fett will be replacing The Mandalorian don’t have to worry as the show is not ending. The Book of Boba Fett will star Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand as they go on their own adventures. It would be more like The Flash and Arrow where both characters could have a cameo in each other’s shows.
The Mandalorian Season 3 Release Date, Trailer and Spoilers
The Mandalorian Season 3 release date could set in 2022 as per the reports. The third season of The Mandalorian is pushed back a little as Jon Favreau and the team will finish working on ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ which is confirmed to release in December 2021. The Mandalorian Season 3 trailer should be out before the end of 2021 as some of the footage will surely be ready by now.

As for the storyline, Mando will have to fight Bo-Katan for the darksaber and it will be an interesting thing to see. Even though Baby Yoda aka Grogu has gone with Luke Skywalker for training, it might be possible that he returns stronger in The Mandalorian Season 3 and fight alongside Mando on new adventures.
