Severe tornadoes have massively stuck the Okhlahoma city. It lead to widespread flooding in surrounding areas. The massive tornado resulted in some serious fatalities and a total of 5 to 6 deaths.

The Saturday night saw the wrath of giant tornadoes striking the sub-urbs of El Rino in Okhlahoma city. The fierce tornado ripped a two-mile path lying on the outskirts of city. Furthermore, the local officials have reported death of two residents.

The rage of the Okhlahoma Tornado destroyed properties of American Budget Value motel, a car dealer store, the Sky view mobile-home and shredded them to pieces. Most of the residential houses were ripped from their places and tossed somewhere away. While Doors and ceilings were left hanging.

 

The storm was quite brief yet devastating. A local dweller captured the rage of nature in an aerial image. The image showed a curvy and short figure, rising up like a funnel and touching down towards surface momentarily. It much around centered on the motel and park area.

Except for the giant tornado, the people of El Reno are also hit hardly by flooding since the last week. The flooding has damaged around 1000 Oklahoma homes.

The Tulsa Suburb in Sand Spring has lost the most in just one night. Their 152 homes are massively flooded. The government has supplemented aids for the locals. A small rescue army is keen on helping residents to reach safer areas and delivering food supplies to trapped ones.

30 inmates are severely injured in the area and known to be in critical state.
According to the estimations of National Weather Service, it was an EF-3 tornado on Fujita scale. While the winds blew at the rate of 136 to 165 miles per hour.

Although, the Okhlahoma Tornado was quite relentless, it lasted for only four minutes. It stayed for 2.2 miles on the ground. The raging disaster also struck down the areas of Missouri’s state capital and Jefferson City, taking at least three lives. The local police have issued a number of safety precautions for trapped victims.

If you are indoors, while the tornado strikes, try to find a shelter in basement or cellar. An interior but windowless room at ground floor may also work.
