The Winds of Winter release date is still not confirmed as George RR Martin is still writing the book. Martin in his recent blog post talked about his daily schedule and Winds of Winter progress. GRRM says that he has been struggling with several characters in Braavos and fans believe that the author is talking about Jaqen H’ghar.
I am back in my fortress of solitude again, I'd returned home to Santa Fe for a short visit to spend some time with Parris. But I am back on the mountain again… which means I'm back in Westeros again, once more moving ahead with WINDS OF WINTER…https://t.co/CAaclTfhu0

Game of Thrones teased the faceless assassin as one of the most mysterious characters, but the show ended without any conclusion. The Winds of Winter spoilers might solve the Jaqen H’ghar mystery and reveal the true purpose of the faceless men in the storyline.
The Winds of Winter Spoilers and Mystery of Jaqen H’ghar
Jaqen H’ghar in the Game of Thrones storyline had the main purpose to train Arya Stark in the ways of killing and changing faces. However, Arya rarely used the skill in the final season and it means there is more to the actual plotline in The Winds of Winter book. Jaqen in the “A Song of Ice and Fire” books is trying to infiltrate the Citadel of Westeros with a hidden purpose.
The Winds of Winter spoilers will reveal whether Jaqen H’ghar wants to steal a book about dragons or kill Archmaester Walgrave or even Samwell Tarly. George RR Martin never introduces any character without purpose and Jaqen might play an important role in The Winds of Winter story.
The Winds of Winter Release Date Delay and Updates
The Winds of Winter release date has been delayed again as GRRM failed to deliver the book in August this year. Based on his blog post, fans are assuming that George RR Martin will take around a year or two and TWOW will be out in 2021 or 2022. The only good part is that Martin is continuously working on “The Winds of Winter” these days and it means the book is bound to come out soon.
