The Winds of Winter release date updates are almost dry after the Worldcon 2020 ended and George RR Martin failed to deliver on his promise. Some of the frustrated fans are blaming Martin for the delay and being rude to him on his social media handles. Whenever George posts anything on his Twitter account, most of the fans will harass him asking about Winds of Winter book.
GRRM is tired of the constant comments telling him to write The Winds of Winter as it is taking a toll on him. The author doesn’t feel good about it and believes that it will delay the TWOW book further. For those who are eagerly waiting for The Winds of Winter release, it would be better to leave George RR Martin in peace and let him work on the book without any pressure.
George RR Martin updates his Life Events on Twitter
George RR Martin recently posted a picture of himself in a jester hat wishing everyone Happy Halloween on his Twitter feed. The fantasy writer regularly updates his blog post too and shares information about his daily routine, The Winds of Winter book progress, events that he attends, and so on.
Here's another peek at the past, and the original pilot for GoT. We shot the wedding of Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo in Morocco. Ian McNeice played Illyrio Mopatis, and I played one of the wedding guests, presumably another magister. #TBT https://t.co/2BiGflKIIO pic.twitter.com/ItkUw75uvV

But for the last few weeks, Martin has posted about a football game, voting awareness message, some random book promotion, and nothing about Winds of Winter. It is the main reason why some fans are irked out at Martin as he updates about his life events instead of writing The Winds of Winter chapters.
Fans are being Rude over The Winds of Winter Delay
Fans are expressing their anger in the comment sections of George RR Martin’s post and it is kind of rude. Martin is now 72 years old and he can’t keep writing at a higher pace, the man needs a break and proper rest. Also, it is not easy to write such a huge book from a creative perspective and George needs to focus fully on the Winds of Winter and Game of Thrones storyline.
You’re a great writer but a very small Man. No respect for your Readers. I deeply regret Buying your books. You’ve responsabilities related to your succes

Our advice to the fans reading this is to stop being rude and harassing Georg RR Martin and let him write The Winds of Winter and release the book at his own pace.
