George RR Martin has not completed The Winds of Winter and the latest deadline is also passed. Martin promised to deliver TWOW during the Worldcon 2020 in New Zealand, but sadly that event has also passed. The fantasy author promised fans that they can imprison him if he fails to deliver THE WINDS OF WINTER at the deadline.

Now that the deadline is over and there is no Winds of Winter book in the markets, fans have lost their cool and are calling out to put GRRM into a prison. In such times, we wonder whether George RR Martin really go to prison for finishing The Winds of Winter book?
Fans want George RR Martin in Jail for Breaking his Promise
Fans are really angry at George RR Martin for not completing The Winds of Winter and Game of Thrones ending have made it worse. Martin himself gave his formal permission to imprison him until he is done with the book.
If I don’t have THE WINDS OF WINTER in hand when I arrive in New Zealand for worldcon, you have here my formal written permission to imprison me in a small cabin on White Island, overlooking that lake of sulfuric acid, until I’m done.

Some of the fans have taken the statement seriously and are calling out George RR Martin on this. The entire Twitter feed of Martin is filled with fans asking for Winds of Winter and calling out to put the author in a prison.

The Winds of Winter Release Date Deadline is Broken again
The Winds of Winter release date deadline has been broken once again and it was evident from the beginning. George RR Martin hinted that he is making progress on the book but it will still take a year or more. There is no way Winds of Winter gets magically finished in a few months. Fans should wait for the Worldcon 2021 and maybe George brings The Winds of Winter to the event next year.
