Tom and Jerry Movie is coming back on the screens and we need to thank Warner Brothers for it. According to the reports, the movie will be a blend of animation and live action. There are so many rumours making the rounds and this time it’s for the cast of the movie.
Cholë Grace Moretz to be a part of the movie?
Tom and Jerry movie will be a silent animated movie according to the reports. The movie will be based upon the shenanigans of the famous cartoon characters which will take place in a live-action place.
To add more fun to it, Collider says that Chloë Grace Moretz will also be a part of it. Recently, the 5th Wave actress Chloë Grace Moretz has signed up for a role in Tom and Jerry movie. Moretz is going to portray the role of an employee at a “posh” hotel named Kayla.
Tom and Jerry movie: The storyline
Kayla takes help from a broke cat named Tom to get rid of a troublesome mouse named Jerry from the hotel. He needs Kayla’s help to stop Jerry from ruining a glamorous wedding event.
However, it will be tough to handle notorious Jerry. As per the sites, the movie is going to be a mixture of live-action and animation.
However, the characters of Tom and Jerry won’t feature any voice actors because they will be silent.
If you have watched the original Tom and Jerry cartoon, then you will be knowing that they are quite skilled without communicating. Plus, they will be completely animated which will remind the fans of the original cartoon.
Producers and director of the film
The film will be produced by Tim Story and Sharla Sumpter Bridgett. Tim Story will be serving as the director. The scripts will be written by April Prosser, Katie Silberman, as well as Kevin Costello. Also, Warner Bros. will be the leading production house of the film.
Currently, Chloe has been quite busy with the number of projects. In future, she is expected to be seen in The Addams Family where she will be voicing Wednesday Adams.
Other future films include Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs, Love is a Gun and Blood on the Tracks and the films Shadow in the Cloud. In 2018, she also appeared in drama Greta and starred in a horror remake named Suspiria.
