Recently, Comic-Con International has announced the nominees for the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards 2019. The list which has been nominated are for works published from January 1, 2018, to December 31, 2018. The nominees were picked by a blue-ribbon panel of judges.

From well-recognized publishers in the United States to creators, to graphic novel writers, there is a wide-ranging list of nominees. In 2019, more than 31 categories in comics have been nominated for the awards. Plus, there are more than 50 publishers who are representing 170 prints from across the globe.

2019 Will Eisner Comic Industry Award Nominees

Jackie Estrada is serving as the Eisner Awards Administrator. San Diego Comic Convention will be presenting the awards. It is a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation. Apart from that, Comic-Con International is trying to spread awareness of comics across the globe.

The categories for the nominations include Best Short Story, Best Continuing Series, Best Limited Series, Best New Series, Best Humor Publication, Best Anthology, Best Graphic Album-New, Best Writer and many more.

2019 Will Eisner Comic Industry Award Nominees

Eleven people are nominated for 2 Eisner which includes John Allison, Jen Wang, Emily Carroll, Noah van Sciver, Nick Drnaso, Mitch Gerads, Mark Russell, Sonny Liew, Nate Powell, Carolyn Nowak as well as Sean Phillips. Also, writers like Tom King and Alec de Campi has appeared in multiple nominations.

All the professionals present in the comic book industry can vote for their favourites online at www.eisnervote.com. But make sure to vote before June 14, 2019. However, the results will be declared on July 19 in a gala awards ceremony held at Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel.
